One of the quirkiest hotels in town, Sanderson Hotel provides a different 5 star experience than your normal luxury hotel would. It is under Morgans Hotel Group that also includes two more hotels in London ( Mondrian and St Martins Lane) and many others around the world. You can check their full list of their locations here.

Just by stepping in the hotel, which is located in the Chic area of West Soho, you are already in a different world. Dog portraits, sofa lips and hanging bubble chairs are just a few of the things you are going to run into in the lobby. A Japanese garden courtyard in the middle of the property is a dreamy oasis worth paying a visit, especially during the warm Summer nights. In a daily basis, it houses the infamous Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea party, which is an Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea (yes please!).

Rooms

I stayed at the Deluxe Room which was the nicest room i have ever stayed at, fell instantly in love! Decorated in all white with quirky little details and pops of color, the room felt like you are in a spaceship (the 3D galaxy elevator may have influenced the atmosphere, ha!). Main features that i have to mention are the sleigh bed in the middle of the room and the gorgeous bathroom (which is probably bigger than the average London studio flat,ha!).

Area

The hotel can’t get more central. Just a few minutes away from Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road tube station and all the stores that surround the area. Located in the Soho territory, the hottest restaurants are also within reach.

Final Thoughts

Sanderson hotel felt like a trip into a wonderland that i never wanted to end! The friendly staff made the experience much more memorable and overall i would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone who wishes to experience something different but without losing the touch of luxury.
